HANAU. - Armenian peacekeepers received Holy Communion on July 31 before leaving for Afghanistan in a German Hanau city (land of Hessa).
Armenian peacekeepers will stay for six months in Afghanistan. In total, 40 peacekeepers received military qualifications in Germany. They will carry out peacekeeping mission in German military unit, subordinated to the Northern regional command of NATO.
