YEREVAN. - In connection with the decision of Yerevan Mayor Karen Karapetyan on smoking restrictions in public catering areas in the Armenian capital, more than 750 food service facilities were asked to identify specific zones and areas for smoking.

As of August 2011, 126 catering facilities operating in Yerevan responded to the mayor’s offer and assigned special smoking zones. 38 of them are located in the administrative district of Kentron, 29 - in Arabkir, 9- in Shengavit, 8 - in the Nork-Marash, 7 - in Avan, Yerevan Municipality press service informed Armenian News - NEWS.am.
