All citizens who were brought to different police departments on May 30 were prosecuted, lawyer Alexander Kochubaev noted.

“The authorities and the police are embarking on a major conspiracy and criminal prosecutions have been opened against the participants in a peaceful protest. Criminal prosecution was initiated allegedly on the fact of hooliganism. It is puzzling that one policeman noticed, for example, how a group of 20-30 people committed hooligan actions, and this is the case when one citizen was brought near the monument to Nzhdeh, and the other near the government building,” Kochubaev said.

The lawyer said that two minors were also prosecuted for hooliganism.

He noted that signs of violence were registered.

Since the morning of May 30, representatives of the Resistance Movement gathered at the French Square in Yerevan, from where they started the procession. They went to the 3rd building of the complex of government buildings in Yerevan to find out the position of the ministers regarding the status of Artsakh. Deputies from the opposition blocs tried to enter the building and meet with the ministers. As a result, there was a clash between the police and supporters of the Resistance Movement. Many protesters were brought in.
