Armenia expects deliveries of rescue equipment from Russia, head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Armen Pambukhchyan said.
His remarks came during Tuesday's joint session of parliamentary standing committees at the National Assembly, discussing the state budget 2021.
According to him, relevant work has been and is being carried out with international partners to replenish the technical fleet.
"Certain agreements were reached in 2021, and now we are expecting deliveries of rescue equipment from Russia. And since such equipment is very expensive, the department buys it annually in small quantities," Pambukhchyan said.
In March, Russia handed over SUVs and rescue equipment to the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations.
