YEREVAN. - Ambassador of the children fund of UNICEF Laily Moshiri-Gilan completes her mission in Armenia. Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan met her on this connection on Tuesday.

Armenian PM praised the role of the UNICEF and the personal input of Moshiri-Gilan aiming to protect the rights of children and improve their life and health conditions in Armenia, press service of the Armenian government informs.

In her turn, Moshiri-Gilan thanked Armenian PM for a high level of cooperation and assistance in the effective work of Yerevan office of UNICEF. It will continue its mission of implementing social projects, which aim to improve protection of the rights of children in Armenia. The new ambassador of UNICEF to Armenia will be appointed in September.

The office of UNICEF operates since 1994 in Armenia. It aims to provide more favorable life conditions, to prevent infant mortality, diseases, to provide secure pregnancy and right for education, as well as to struggle against abuse and trafficking.
