YEREVAN. - The delegation of Armenian authorities will respond to the statement of opposition Armenian National Congress (ANC) on August 16, said head of the delegation, MP Davit Harutunyan.

“We have studied the facts presented by the opposition. Some of them appeared to be facts, while others are mere assessments. We will present our position next Tuesday,” he said.

During today’s talks opposition’s delegation put forward the arguments for necessity to hold snap parliamentary and presidential elections because of illegitimacy of the ruling regime.

Harutunyan stressed that the coalition continues studying the incidents discussed during talks last week, in particular, police attack on young people announcing the opposition rally and disruption of public transport to prevent rally participants from entering the Armenian capital.
