The Office of the Ombudswoman of Armenia has received 904 complaints on issues related to child protection in 2021, Ombudswoman Grigoryan, said today in the National Assembly.
Her remarks came during the joint session of the parliamentary standing committees at the preliminary discussion of the execution of the 2021 state budget.
In addition, the number of calls to the 24-hour hotline increased by 20% in 2021 compared to the previous year.
"Individuals were provided legal advice. The number of applications-complaints also increased by almost 25 percent, reaching the 21181 mark," Grigoryan reported.
