Armenia continued its course towards deepening allied relations and strategic partnership with Russia in 2021, said Armenian FM Ararat Mirzoyan on Monday at the parliament session.
Cooperation was carried out in all directions, he noted.
“Last year was marked by political dialogue with Russia, and at the highest level. It was also marked by the coordination of steps at regional and international platforms, as well as close cooperation in various fields,” the minister added.
Mirzoyan added that Armenia is involved in deepening cooperation both within the Eurasian Union and within the CSTO, and since September last year, it took over the chairmanship of the CSTO, where, in particular, it is working on improving the mechanisms of collective response.
"Armenia is interested in improving the mechanisms of rapid response," the FM said.
