YEREVAN. – President Vahagn Khachaturyan of Armenia on Thursday received a delegation led by President Claire Bazy Malaurie of the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe (CoE).

Khachaturyan noted that the CoE is of special importance for Armenia, as the latter has been cooperating very closely with the CoE since its independence and CoE is one of Armenia's key partners, the President's Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Also, the President noted with satisfaction that the CoE and its Venice Commission continue to assist in Armenia's agenda of implementing reforms and strengthening democracy in the country.

In here turn, Malaurie noted that Armenia is a stable and reliable partner of the Council of Europe.
