YEREVAN. - The audience at Armenian singer Flora Martirosyan’s concert was waiting for a surprise on July 28. The rumors had it Flora Martirosyan allegedly would sing with Armenia’s First Lady Rita Sargsyan, who is a musician. However, no sensation took place, Aravot newspaper reports. 

In a conversation with the newspaper, Martirsoyan said such a surprise was not planned. The rumors about the possible duet might have spread after Martirosyan said at one of her concerts that Mrs. Sargsyan has a delightful voice and puts her soul into the song. “If Mrs. Sargsyan expresses a desire to sing with me, I will be only happy,” Martirosyan said, adding she sings better than many professional Armenian singers.
