There was a hailstorm for 30 minutes in Debet village of Lori Province of Armenia Saturday. Local resident Luiza Ghazaryan informed Armenian News-NEWS.am about this.

"The whole village has suffered a lot of damage from the hail, but it was stronger in a couple of districts where everything was destroyed. Fruit trees, fields, vegetables—potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes, beans, cabbage, eggplant, peppers, beets, onions, garlic, etc.—have been damaged," she said.

The Debet resident added that as a result of this hailstorm, the crop in the village was damaged by about 90 percent.
