YEREVAN. – A delegation from Armenia, and led by Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan, paid a two-day working visit to Georgia, the finance ministry of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Khachatryan had meetings with the minister of finance of Georgia, Lasha Khutsishvili; as well as with the head of the Revenue Service of Georgia, Levan Kakava.
During the talk with the Georgian finance minister, electronic risk assessment systems were highlighted for the purpose of selecting taxpayers subject to inspection.
The parties discussed a wide range of matters related to the customs and tax domains of mutual interest.
Also within the framework of the visit, a protocol was signed on the start of the project arising from the memorandum between the State Revenue Committee of Armenia and the Revenue Service of Georgia on the exchange of initial electronic data on the international transportation of vehicles and goods.
