YEREVAN. - In the first half of 2011 the profit of UniBank increased by more than five times and totaled more than AMD 1 billion.

Thus, UniBank secured the greatest growth of net profit in the banking system of Armenia. The total income of the bank for the first half of 2011 amounted to over AMD 9 billion, expenses - to more than AMD 7.7 billion. Assets of UniBank for June 30, 2011 amounted to AMD 112.9 billion, the amount of the loan portfolio is AMD 74.8 billion.

In the first half of 2011 UniBank paid to the state budget of Armenia an amount of AMD 872 million. According to this index, UniBank took 45th place in the list of top 100 taxpayers.
