YEREVAN. - Armenian Foreign Ministry confirmed reports about accident with a bus carrying Armenian tourists.

No passengers were killed, spokesperson for Armenian Foreign Office Tigran Balayan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“The circumstances of the accident and names of injured are being clarified,” he said.

Earlier Georgian press reported a bus carrying Armenian tourists fell into a gorge on Georgia’s Kazbegii-Tbilisi highway on Thursday.

According to preliminary reports, children and old people were among over 30 injured.

Doctors and rescuers are working at the site. Georgian media outlets said bus was carrying Armenian and Azerbaijani tourists.
