YEREVAN. – A corpse of man was found in Yerevan’s Botanical Garden last night.
The corpse was in such a condition that it was difficult even to approach, a police official Valeri Baghyan told Haykakan Zhamanak newspaper.
No signs of violence were discovered, but an investigation found an empty package of medication. The man died a few days ago, as the body could be hardly recognized.
Later he was identified senior sergeant of police Tonik Harutyunyan, born in 1970. He worked in a dog service of Armenian Police. A few days ago, Harutyunyan was reported missing by Arabkir police department.
