International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors visit Iran’s nuclear power stations Oct. 24. The visit will last 2-3 days, IRNA news agency informs.
As NEWS.am previously reported, according to IAEA Director Mohamed El-Baradei, the experts had to arrive in Iran on Oct. 25. Ali Akbar Salehi, Head of Iran’s Atomic organization, said the IAEA watchdog will not only check the stations, but also demand precise guarantees that Iran’s nuclear program will be used for peaceful purposes only.
Today Iran is expected to make official decision on proposed project package on providing nuclear fuel for Tehran’s research reactor.
U.S. and France are deemed to approve the nuclear project, France Press informs referring to diplomatic sources in Vienna. According to them, the official statement on the matter will appear shortly.
