In the first half of 2022, the passenger flow at Zvartnots International Airport of Yerevan amounted to 1,323,811 people (665,940 arrived, 657,871 departed).

In the same period, the passenger flow at Shirak International Airport of Gyumri was 32,557 people (15,668 arrived, 16,889 departed).

In the first half of this year, the total number of arrivals in Armenia by air was 681,608, and the number of departures was 674,760.

Thus, those who arrived in Armenia by air were 6,848 more than those who departed from the country in the first six months of 2022.

The positive balance of this indicator, especially in this period, is not characteristic for Armenia, but it is quite understandable, as there is a major flow due to the flow from Russia to Armenia as a result of the Ukrainian war.
