President Joe Biden discussed the situation around the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant with French President Emmanuel Macron, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
The leaders reaffirmed their continued support for Ukraine's efforts to defend itself against Russian aggression, the White House said. They also discussed the situation at the Zaporizhzhya NPP, including the need to avoid hostilities near the plant and the importance of an IAEA visit as soon as possible to ascertain the state of security systems.
The sides talks about ongoing negotiations on Iran's nuclear program, the need to increase support for partners in the Middle East region, and joint efforts to curb Iran's "destabilizing" regional activities.
