Norway and Britain will provide Ukraine with Norwegian Black Hornet micro-drones, the Norwegian government said in a statement.
Norway and the UK are joining forces to acquire Norwegian Black Hornet microdrones as a donation to Ukraine. The cost will be up to NOK 90 million (USD 9.2 million), the cabinet said in a statement.
The assistance package includes the drones themselves, spare parts, transportation and training. The funding will come from a British-led fund, to which Norway donated NOK 400 million ($41.1 million).
These drones are used for reconnaissance and detection of targets.
A drone defense system will also be purchased for Ukraine for approximately NOK 100 million ($10.2 million).
