On the night of August 21, the 39-meter yacht MY Saga sank near the island of Sicily, reported a number of media, in particular, the Daily Mail. According to the Italian portal La Gazzetta Del Mezzogiorno, its owner is Gennady Ayvazyan, a Russian businessman, co-owner of Kuzbassrazrezugol Holding and chairman of the Krutrade company board of directors.

According to the Daily Mail, on the night of August 21 the yacht sank near the town of Milazzo. The vessel began to take on water at the stern, and the captain gave a distress signal. The Coast Guard later arrived, but it did not save the yacht. The four passengers and one crew member were evacuated and the other four crew members were left on the boat to fix the leak. The next day the yacht began to sink and the crew was moved ashore.

According to the Superyacht Times, My Saga was built in 2007 in Monaco by Monaco Yachting & Technologies. Her page on the magazine's website has the status "completely lost," writes Kommersant.
