The European Commission Directorate General for Enlargement and Neighborhood has published a tender for a project to support the CEC of Bosnia and Herzegovina, RT reported, with reference to the document.
"In particular to finalise the set of amendments aimed to improve the integrity and transparency of the electoral process, in line with European standards and that the public debate around these amendments starts," the document says.
Under the contract, the European Commission will provide the country with the necessary IT-equipment, as well as make its adjustment, installation and warranty service.
Earlier it was reported that Bundeswehr soldiers will be deployed in Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of the international peacekeeping contingent EUFOR (European Union Force) for the first time in almost a decade.
By mid-September, Berlin plans to deploy 28 servicemen for this mission with an upper limit of 50 soldiers. The mandate for the Bundeswehr in BiH is valid until June 30, 2023.
