Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that the crisis in the partially recognized republic of Kosovo continues and deepens. According to him, even if a guarantee is received from the EU after negotiations with the leader of Kosovo, the agreement will be only on one small issue.
He also nominated Interim Prime Minister Ana Brnabic in Parliament for the post of Prime Minister of Serbia. Vucic announced this in a televised address to the nation, TASS reports.
The crisis in any case continues and deepens, it is important that we react peacefully and that we are not blamed for the failure of the negotiations, said Alexander Vučić.
He noted that the recent negotiations with Kosovo in Brussels ended without results, now Serbia is waiting for "the final answer of the EU about them.
The situation around the partially recognized republic of Kosovo escalated in July. The catalyst for the conflict was the decision of Pristina to replace the car numbers issued in Serbia to the Serbs living in the north of Kosovo, as well as to introduce a special certificate in the documents of the Serbs during their stay in Kosovo (as Serbia has been doing for many years in relation to the inhabitants of Kosovo). On August 18, Aleksandar Vucic and Kosovo's leader Albin Kurti met in Brussels for the first time in a year to discuss developments in the situation, Kommersant reports. https://www.kommersant.ru/
