A tragic incident took place in Yerevan Saturday, shamshyan.com reported.

At around 8:10pm, the police received a call from the ambulance service that an ambulance team was dispatched to the park of the Armenian-Russian (Slavonic) University after an unidentified man had fainted, but he was found dead.

The police and investigators found the dead body of Yerevan resident G. K., 87, who had died suddenly in the aforesaid park—and in the presence of his friends.

According to the preliminary conclusion of the forensic doctor, no traces of violence were found on the external examination of the body.

A forensic medical examination of the body has been ordered.
