Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian will be in Moscow for a working visit on August 31, during which he will hold talks with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, Interfax reported, citing the Russian Foreign Ministry.
"An interested exchange of views on a number of topical international issues is expected to continue, including the situation around the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on the Iranian nuclear program, the situation in Ukraine, Syria, Afghanistan, Transcaucasia and around the Caspian Sea," the report said.
According to the Russian Foreign Ministry, it is planned to discuss the bilateral agenda, primarily its trade and economic component in the context of the implementation of key joint projects in energy and transport, as well as the prospects for building scientific and technical and cultural and humanitarian relations.
