The Iraqi security forces reported that four rockets have hit Baghdad’s Green Zone, where government offices and foreign embassies are located, writes The Jerusalem Post.
Several buildings were damaged as a result of shelling.
There are no reports of civilian casualties.
Air raid sirens blared out Monday at the US embassy in Iraq, which is located in the Green Zone.
