Poland, Finland, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia may take measures to reduce the number of Russian citizens who can enter the territory of these states and the Schengen area in the event that the European Union is unable to agree on collective action, the Financial Times reported, citing their joint statement.
"Until such measures are in place on the EU level, we will consider setting up temporary measures on the national level in order to address imminent public security issues related to the increased influx of Russian citizens across our borders," the publication said.
