Convicted ex-MP Myasnik Malkhasyan, who was accused of organizing mass riots, has been acquitted. Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned about this from the Office of the Prosecutor General of Armenia.
The proceedings of the criminal case involving Malkhasyan have been dropped on the basis of an absence of corpus delicti.
The prosecution has dropped the charge against Malkhasyan—and citing a number of ECHR decisions in such cases.
