YEREVAN. – Arman Poghosyan, Deputy Minister of Finance of Armenia, participated in the second high-level meeting—in Indonesia—of the Asia Initiative by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), The Ministry of Finance of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The meeting focused on ensuring—within the framework of international cooperation between the tax authorities in Asia—access to financial information, and the fight against tax evasion and illegal financial flows
Also, Poghosyan handed to the Secretariat of the Asia Initiative the letter-agreement by Finance Minister Tigran Khachatryan about Armenia's joining this initiative.
The meeting was attended by high-ranking representatives—from Armenia, China, Japan, India, Indonesia, South Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Maldives, Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong (China), Macau (China), Pakistan, and Brunei—of the 15 of sub judices that have signed the Asia Initiative.
