On the eve of the day, the General Prosecutor's Office of Azerbaijan spread new information about the progress of the investigation of the notorious "Tartar case". The investigation proved that soldier Temkin Nizamioglu died as a result of torture. The exhumation of his body was conducted and the fact of torture is confirmed by the forensic medical report.

Lieutenant Temkin Nizamioglu served in Terter and took part in the April battles, Qafqazinfo reported. The soldier was at a training exercise when he was suddenly recalled, detained, taken to the village of Shirkharh and tortured. On May 15, 2017, Temkin's family was informed of his death and his body was taken to Ordubad. At that time, the soldier's father Nizami Guliyev was in the mountains and asked to wait for him to arrive.

In spite of this, Temkin Nizamioglu was buried in Darkend village of Ordubad district without his parents. The soldier was buried in a coffin which was not allowed to be opened. Those attending the funeral were told that the lieutenant had died of heart failure. After family members began complaining, they were given an official medical report stating that Temkin Nizamioglu had died of pneumonia associated with acute pulmonary failure.

Subsequent events, however, reveal a certain mystique in this strange affair. Five years later, on May 11, 2022, the body of Temkin Nizamioglu was exhumed in the presence of government officials. To the amazement of the forensic experts, the soldier's body remained imperishable. It was as if some supernatural force prevented the traces of torture by which the lieutenant had been tortured. It was established that the serviceman had been beaten with a blunt object, and his body was left with numerous fractures.
