The cost of copper is down more than 1%, trading data show.
December futures for copper on the Comex exchange fell 1.28% to $3.414 a pound (about 0.45 kilograms).
At the London Metal Exchange (LME), the cost of a ton of copper with delivery in three months rose by 0.39% to $7,683, aluminum declined by 1.09% to $2,260.5 and zinc - by 0.97% to $3,166.5.
