Armenia is interested in the unblocking of transport communications in the South Caucasus and hopes to resolve this issue in the near future—with the help of Russia; and in the current situation, logistics schemes are changing and new opportunities are opening up for Armenia. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this in his address Wednesday at the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, Russia.

According to him, despite everything, the flow of goods between the east and the west continues.

Also, Pashinyan recalled that the trilateral statement on the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) issue envisages the unblocking of regional transport and economic communications, which means the option of movement via Azerbaijan.

"Armenia will get transport routes through the territory of Azerbaijan, and Azerbaijan—in the territory of Armenia. We are very interested in this matter, and we hope that we will resolve this issue with the assistance of the Russian Federation. We hope that with this principle we will be able to bring to fruition the project that we call the 'Armenian Crossroads' project," the premier added.
