As a result of the fire in a karaoke bar in the south of Vietnam 32 people died, The Guardian reported.

The fire engulfed the second floor of the building on the evening of Sept. 6, trapping customers and staff as thick smoke filled the stairs and blocked the emergency exit. People were burned alive.

Many went to the balcony to escape the fire, which quickly spread to the wooden interior, while others were forced to jump out of the building.
