Russian and Turkish Presidents Vladimir Putin and Recep Tayyip Erdogan are holding a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the SCO summit in Samarkand, RIA Novosti reported.
The two leaders are expected to discuss bilateral economic issues and the implementation of the Istanbul grain deal.
According to Bloomberg, citing an informed Turkish official, Erdogan is expected to ask Putin for a 25 percent discount on Russian gas and agreement to pay part of his bill in liras.
