Five Syrian soldiers were killed in the early morning hours on Saturday after Israeli military aggression at Damascus International Airport and at some points in the south of Syria, reports SANA news agency.
"Today, at around 12:45am, the Israeli side launched a missile attack in the northeast direction of Lake Tiberias [(Sea of Galilee)], in the direction of Damascus International Airport and some points south of Damascus. Air defense systems countered the aggressor's missiles and hit most of them," the source told SANA.
The source added that this military aggression led to "the death of five servicemen and some material damage."
