YEREVAN.- No foreign currency transactions were made on NASDAQ OMX Armenia, for the second time over a week. It is the second case registered this year.
The main reason is high demand rate – AMD369/$1. However, as compared to Thursday the offer rate jumped to – AMD368.5/$1. Despite lack of transactions, US dollar goes up.
Increase in US dollar price is registered since August 25. On Friday some exchange offices purchase US dollar at the rate of AMD 368 /$1 and sell at AMD 370 /$1.
