Copper is getting cheaper Monday morning amid a stronger dollar against world currencies as markets watch for signals from the U.S. Federal Reserve (Fed), trading data showed.

December copper futures on the Comex exchange fell 0.44% to $3.5258 a pound (about 0.45 kilograms).

At the end of trading on the London Metal Exchange (LME) on Friday, the cost of a ton of copper with delivery in three months rose by 0.42% to $ 7,762, aluminum - fell by 1.32% to $ 2,277, zinc - 1.04%, to $ 3,153.5.
