SUKHUMI. – The snap presidential elections in Abkhazia were held properly on Friday.
The number of electors exceeded the 51 percent by 04.30 p.m., RIA Novosty reports. Three candidates the acting president Alexander Ankvab, Abkhazian PM Sergei Shamba, and the leader of the oppositional Forum of National Unity Party Raul Khajimba compete for the presidential post.
