Anatoly Kuzichev, host of the program "Vremya Pokazhet" on the Russian First Channel, apologized for the statements he had made the day before. In particular, he claimed that Azerbaijan attacked Artsakh, not Armenia.

"I said a stupid thing yesterday, I misspoke, I slipped up, I corrected myself. We were talking about the border regions, the territory of the state, we were talking specifically about Armenia yesterday," Kuzichev said, apologizing for "this stupid mistake." "I want to say shkorakalutyun (thank you -Armenian). Thank you for your understanding," Kuzichev said.

During the aforementioned program, host Anatoly Kuzichev, commenting on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's visit to Armenia, decided to "reproach" her for not knowing geography, arguing that Azerbaijan's latest aggression was carried out against "disputed territories", i.e. Artsakh, not Armenia.

He was echoed by one of the invited Russian experts Vladislav Shurygin, assuring that "the last clash of Armenian-Azerbaijani forces took place in Nagorno-Karabakh...we still need to study who attacked first and why".

Later, one of the guests, Dmitry Abzalov, corrected the mistake of the host and the guests, noting that the clashes took place on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, not in Artsakh.
