PAMIERS. – An Armenian man was sentenced for four months for knife-fight in a French Pamiers city in the department of Ariege. He hit one of the friends of his ex girl-friend, La Dépêche du Midi reports.

According to the man, he was peeling an apple on the street on July 28 with a small knife. Outside he met his ex girl-friend and her friend. Armenian insists that his ex friend was ‘unintentionally wounded by the peeling knife.’ Grigoryan ran away and threw the knife in a trash can. However, police found it.

The judge refused to believe to the ‘apple of discord’ version of the defendant and sentenced him for four months of imprisonment, the newspaper reports.
