Representatives of clergy, participants of protest action held near the Israeli Embassy in Baku on Friday, were arrested.
Thirty protestors were arrested but majority of them were released later, FaktXeber.com reports.
Two of them remained in custody for 5 and 7 hours, three others paid fine and were released.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am reported earlier, the action was held under “Support for hijab” motto. The participants chanted anti-Israeli slogans voicing criticism against Tel-Aviv’s policy on Palestine.
