Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received French Presidential Administration Advisor Isabelle Dumont and French OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair Brice Roquefeuil, the press service of the Armenian government informed NEWS.am. Pashinyan stressed the important role of France as an OSCE Minsk Group co-chairing country and welcomed the visit of Ms. Dumont and Mr. Roquefeuil.

The parties discussed issues related to the implementation of agreements reached during the September 26 meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris.

The parties stressed the importance of developing a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan based on the UN Charter and the Alma-Ata Declaration of 1991, as well as delimitation works on the border and ensuring the activity of the EU civilian mission on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. They also touched upon the security and protection of the rights of Armenians in Nagorno-Karabakh, the creation of an international negotiation mechanism between Stepanakert and Baku, and the return of Armenian prisoners of war held in Azerbaijan.
