YEREVAN. – Armenia makes studies of radioactive radon gas emission, state committee of regulating nuclear security informs Ekolur.

A total of 400 radon detectors received from MAGATE will be set up in 106 residential points of Armenia. They will mainly be set up near the schools and kindergartens. One of the residential points within the program is the Lernadzor village. Exploration of uranium ore is being conducted near the village.
