Computer shipments to the global market have collapsed, IDC reported.
Analysts at the firm said PC shipments fell 15.3 percent in the second quarter of 2022 compared to the second quarter of 2021. During that period, 74.3 million units were shipped. According to experts, consumer demand remains low, so PC manufacturers have to make additional investments in marketing.
Lenovo remained the market leader in the second quarter, which has occupied the share of 22.7 percent. HP and Dell are on the second and third positions with shares of 17.1 and 16.1, respectively. Apple with 13.5 percent and Asus with 7.5 percent were located below.
