NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg called on Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko to stop involving Minsk in the conflict in Ukraine. He said this on his arrival at the two-day meeting of NATO defense ministers.

According to Stoltenberg, he expects that Lukashenko's regime will stop being an accomplice to the conflict.

NATO Secretary General added that members of the North Atlantic Alliance know that Belarus was used as a springboard for launching missiles at Ukraine.

Earlier, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that Ukraine constantly conducts provocations on the Ukrainian-Belarusian border. According to him, Kiev has brought up to 15,000 troops to the borders of Belarus.

According to him, the Ukrainian military create checkpoints and firing positions on the border and put up roadblocks.
