The first IRIS-T air defense system pledged by Germany to Kiev has arrived in Ukraine, and three more will be delivered next year, German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht said, according to Reuters.
"A very important support for Ukraine in the fight against missile attacks, against this terror the population is subjected to," she told reporters as she arrived for a meeting with her NATO counterparts in Brussels. This is one system, followed next year by three more systems.
