A technical group from the European Union (EU) will arrive in Armenia today. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Paruyr Hovhannisyan announced this to reporters Thursday.

But where this EU civilian mission will be stationed has not been decided yet.

"The technical group will arrive today, this matter will also be discussed," said the deputy FM.

To the remark that the CSTO also has proposed to send observers to the Armenia-Azerbaijan border, and when asked which of them will be preferred, Hovhannisyan responded: "We are open to all proposals thanks to which our security will strengthen so that we avoid the situation we had in September."

As a result of the recent Prague meeting between the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, France, and the European Council, a statement was adopted according to which, Armenia and Azerbaijan recognize each other's territorial integrity, and an EU civilian mission will be stationed at Armenia's border with Azerbaijan.
