Some scientists have made an unexpected announcement that the sharp increase in carbon dioxide emissions, which occurs due to the disruption of the carbon cycle on planet Earth, may lead to the extinction of humanity. Moreover, researcher assume this will happen before the year 2100.

This does not mean at all that all living beings will disappear from the face of the Earth at the same time, says geophysicist Daniel Rothman. But, according to him, similar changes have already occurred in the history of the existence of our planet, and this has led to mass destruction.

The scientist noted that due to the amount of carbon in the Earth’s atmosphere and oceans, the water will rise at a rapid rate. As a result, entire cities and nations will disappear from the face of the planet.
