The European Union announced new sanctions against Iranian authorities and organizations.
The EU imposed sanctions on the Iranian information minister, the Iranian morality police and the cyber department of the IRGC for alleged human rights violations.
A total of 97 Iranian individuals and eight Iranian entities were placed on the EU sanctions list.
