The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Ground Forces military exercises continue for the second day in Iran, taking place in the general area of the Arax region in the northern province of East Azerbaijan, Mehr reports.

Other IRGC ground forces units were also dispatched to the exercise area on Tuesday morning. All types of tanks, artillery, armored vehicles, rocket units, support vehicles and other equipment are also being sent to the exercise area .

Brigadier General Mohammad Pakpour, commander of the IRGC Ground Forces, visited on the second day of the exercise.

The exercise showcases the latest advanced and state-of-the-art equipment of the IRGC Ground Forces.

The exercises include a helicopter operation, a night gallop operation, a helicopter combat operation, a suicide drone operation, construction of a bridge over the Arax River, and several other operations.

The message of the exercise for neighboring countries is peace and friendship and the enhancement of stable security, and for adversaries it demonstrates the readiness of IRGC ground forces to defend the country's borders and respond decisively to any threat, Pakpour noted.
