Iran is ready to negotiate with Ukraine to resolve ambiguities, the official Foreign Ministry of Iran, Nasser Kanaani stated, Mehr reports.
He noted that the baseless accusations made against Iran are based on false information and preconceived assumptions and are part of the targeted and political atmosphere created by the media of some countries against Iran.
He noted that some of the claims made about sending weapons, including military drones, have no legitimate basis and are false. Kanaani said he was ready to negotiate with Ukraine to reject these accusations.
He stressed that Iran has always opposed the continuation of the war since the conflict between the two countries, Ukraine and Russia, and has stated the need for a peaceful solution. He recalled that Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian held several meetings and telephone conversations with his Ukrainian and Russian counterparts on this issue.
The Islamic Republic of Iran has always stressed respect for the fundamental principles of sovereignty, independence, territorial integrity of all countries, including Ukraine, based on its principles and in accordance with the goals of the United Nations Charter and international norms, Kanaani added.
Today Dmytro Kuleba, the head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, said that he intends to propose to the President of the country to break off relations with Iran. According to him, "Iran's actions are meanness and lies, which we will not tolerate." "After all, Iran has done all these actions while telling us in parallel that it is against war and will not support either side with weapons," Kuleba believes.
